My third book grew out of a conviction that an author’s best role in life is to add to the conversation.  You don’t have to be totally right, and it is unproductive to shut people up.  It is a triumph to look at a situation from a little bit different angle that helps readers see things differently.  I am not a Biblical scholar, but have attended weekly pastor led Bible studies going on 35 years. Along the way, I’ve heard people say it is hard to be a Christian, what with all those commandments and church rules taking the fun out of life.  My view is that being a Christian is not hard.  It is life that is hard, and living life as a Christian is what makes a hard life easier.  Belonging to certain churches may make being a Christian a little harder, but still…
